Selector Radio picks out the best new UK music each week and shares it with four million listeners around the world. It’s a show we’ve been producing since 2001 and it continues to connect a global audience to the ever-changing sounds of UK culture.

What do we play?

Selector broadcasts on radio stations in over 30 countries around the world, connecting a global community of music lovers from Portugal to China every week. About our presenter Sian Eleri

Selector is recorded each week, hosted by the incredible Sian Eleri, one of the biggest music tastemakers at BBC Radio 1. Her zest for new music reaches far and wide, be it breaking new artists or interviewing some of the biggest faces within the scene.

While she speaks in the English language for Selector, Sian is also a proud Welsh speaker who grew up in Caernarfon, north Wales and has been a member of several music judging panels, including for the AIM Awards, the Youth Music Awards, the British Podcast Awards, the Welsh Music Prize, the BRITs and the Mercury Prize.
