Below are the instructions for registering for your Cambridge International Exams as a private candidate or a school exams coordinator for IGCSE, O-Level, AS-Level, and A-Level.

Exam locations

All private candidates can register to sit for Cambridge International Exams with the British Council Botswana in Gaborone (written components).  

The venue address will be communicated to all candidates as they receive Statement of Entries. 

Practical Examinations

All practical examinations will be done at LKC high School. Kindly get in touch with the Head of Examinations, Livingiston Kolobeng College, Block 8, Gaborone. Payment of P1500 per practical paper as admin fees has to be paid directly to the school for doing the practical exams.  

 

Requirements

To apply, you need: 

  • To complete the online application
  • An ID/Passport sized photograph
  • A copy of an ID Card (Omang) or a valid Passport; a birth certificate for applicants under the age of 16
  • Proof of payment

Pay and submit your application

You will find the fees for all exams listed on the online registration platform. Your application will not be processed until you have paid for your exams.

Penalty Fees 
Each examination board has a normal registration stage for each exam session. You may still be able to register for exams after this date, but you will have to pay a penalty fee. You can find more information about late registration penalty fees on your exam registration form.

Receive your Statement of Entry

Once you have submitted your application and payment, you will receive your Statement of Entry and information about your examination venues approximately three weeks before your exams.

You can make amendments to the entry you have made. Please note that amendments are subject to an additional payment as specified in the information sheet.
